Conceivably, your presence on this page means that you have taken the survey, and I hope that you enjoyed and received some value from it. I also hope that reflecting on your perspective and seeing that of others puts you in a better position to talk honestly with fellow voters about how such biases affect our politics, and our lives generally. The way to get past biases is through reflection and honest discussion, not denying to others and ourselves what is currently in our hearts and minds. If enough regular folks start talking honestly about these biases, maybe we can get the media and politicians to address these issues as well, and we can start working on them as a nation.

I am very committed to enhancing dialogue about important issues, and have written a The Little Book of Dialogue for Difficult for Difficult Subjects to offer my knowledge to others; for more information about me or my book, go to http://www.bookofdialogue.com. If you are curious about me and my work in enhancing collaboration and inclusiveness, check out http://www.thedwcgroup.com.

Soon, this site will include a dialogue guide that may help frame issues in ways that can invite people into the conversation who may have very different perspectives. For those who want to have written dialogue about issues related to the survey, discussion areas are provided on three topics: 1) your experience of taking the survey, 2) the issue of bias, political and otherwise, and 3) feedback to help improve surveys like this.

Thanks for visiting.
